One afternoon a bunch of us decided to take a break from campus and tour around the parliament buildings.

We ended up talking to an Aboriginal protesting outside the old parliament building. He was nice enough to share his story with us... "I want you guys to enjoy Australia and see everything it has to offer but keep in the back of your mind our struggle and the suffering that still exists."


After seeing all we wanted to see we headed to a bus stop....we kinda took a wrong turn somewhere and ended up on some random street, turns out that random street was were the Canadian Consulate was located. HA HA HA It was so weird to look over and see it out of the blue like that. Our little piece of home!
